The Leadership & Happiness Symposium

June 19 - 21, 2024

The Leadership & Happiness Laboratory hosts an annual Symposium at the Harvard Kennedy School, which aims to instill leaders with the best happiness science so that they may learn to teach it.

Last June, we brought together the leading experts in the fields of psychology and behavioral economics, including Dr. Arthur C. Brooks, Dr. Carol Graham, Dr. Sonya Lyubomirsky, Dr. Laurie Santos, Dr. Martin Seligman, Dr. Robert Waldinger, and more.

In June 2024, we are excited to host the Symposium once again. If you are interested in attending, please fill out the form below.

“I spent time with Brooks at his inaugural Leadership & Happiness Symposium at the Kennedy School, and was thrilled to recently have the opportunity to ask him a series of questions. I think you’ll find his answers as insightful and inspiring as I do.”

  • Forbes

“My biggest takeaway is that leaders need to be held accountable for increasing the well-being of their employees. It should be written into their job description. It should be integrated into their formal performance review process…We all know that we measure what matters!”

  • Harvard's Social Impact Review

“Thanks to the creation of the Leadership and Happiness Laboratory, the future of happiness studies is bright indeed at Harvard University, a beacon for ideas that can help make our communities and the world a happier place to live and, in time, to flourish.”
